Jurjen Van Hulzen Transforms A Rural Warehouse Inward Ibiza Into His Dream Home
What would an urban loft hold off like, if it was magically placed inward a typical rural setting? The answer to this real interesting pattern challenge is what triggered architect Jurjen van Hulzen, the creative talent behind Amsterdam-based architectural & pattern studio The Nieuw and Ibiza-based Ibiza Interiors, inward transforming a 100-year old abandoned warehouse into a contemporary loft.
The location too construction of the edifice ready the musical note for the whole concept, which was to keep the graphic symbol of the traditional Ibizan architecture acre infusing it amongst a modernistic approach. The concrete columns too steel beams that were yet belongings upwards the traditional roof, which was made from locally sourced Sabina wood, suggested a mix of industrial structures combined amongst rustic styles.
