Hohoho My Rummage Sale Treasures!

Last dark I unpacked approximately goodies that I bought at a huge rummage thrift sale
last May. This was the Boutique At The Rink rummage sale inward Bethlehem,
PA, whose proceeds benefited St. Luke's Hospital Cancer Center & Hospice.

This was my showtime fourth dimension visiting this huge sale, and when I tell huge, I hateful huge!
The previous year, the sale raised $150,000, then but imagine all that STUFF!
In whatsoever case, take a expect at what I scored!

The showtime matter that caught my attending was a gigantic rusty tin object that was
far across the room on a high shelf inward the appliances section. I wasn't sure
what it was, but it was mine!  On closer inspection, it turned out to be an
old punched-tin pendant low-cal fixture. What a fabulous vintage farmhouse find!
It cost $15. I grabbed it. It filled upwardly nearly of my shopping cart!

I was happy to run across at that topographic point was a crafts section. Here I flora box upon box of odds too ends
of arts and crafts supplies. There were things similar knitting needles, yarn, cloth remnants, leftover projection supplies, etc., but what caught my oculus was a handbag of sequin too bead-filled large drinking glass cigar tubes. Forget the sequins, those drinking glass tubes were going to live turned into something fabulous! I'm non certain what they'll live transformed into yet, but I'll cross that twosome when I come upwardly to it.  What's that y'all say? The handbag of nine exam tubes for fifty cents? Sold!

 Next!
Well what to my wondering eyes should seem but a laid of nine onetime embroidery hoops of diverse sizes all tied together too priced at $1.50. Can y'all tell dreamcatchers? I can't hold back to run across what happens amongst those. They volition live a neat projection to create amongst my daughters this winter, perfect for the showtime school-closed snowfall twenty-four hours of the season.

Fabric? Why yes, please.
I'm non an avid sewer, though I cause got made a few quilts too I know how expensive fabric
can be, then I was certain to accept my fourth dimension too larn through this department thoroughly. I flora some
great remnants inward all types of colors, patterns, too materials. One that immediately
caught my oculus was this lightweight sail vintage Equus caballus impress drapery material. The slice was 1 & 1/2 yards too entirely cost a few dollars. Wow.

Along amongst the Equus caballus fabric, I collected a mixed alternative of upholstery, quilting, too decorating fabrics.  For approximately fourth dimension now,  I've been wanting to arts and crafts upwardly a Bohemian fashion flag similar to the fine art flags made past times Sara Rahbar (see her flags below at the destination of this post). These remnants are perfect for that project. They sold them inward packs of 4 or five remnants for fifty cents a pack. What a neat deal!

Here it is all unwrapped on my workbench...
